We are a group of professional filmmakers, multimedia content producers and communication experts with experience in narratives for organizations with social impact.

Rhizome films was born with the mission of mobilising meaningful ideas into broader networks of people that can drive positive social change. We focus on outcomes using evidence-based communication strategies that can bring the power of media for good.
HEADQUARTERS
JUAN PABLO HERNÁNDEZ
Executive producer and founder. Committed to use communications and education to catalyse positive social change.
Has worked in policy advising, strategic communications and extensively in multi-media content production and post production. Originally from Bogota, he has worked as a researcher, producer and editor of social, and political documentary films. University professor and researcher. He has a Master´s degree from the London School of Economics, plays trumpet and loves to dance salsa.
SEBASTIÁN HERNÁNDEZ
Co-founder and executive producer in Bogotá - Colombia. Professional in Film and TV Direction and Production from the Manuela Beltrán University with knowledge in Digital Marketing and business communication strategies.
He has worked in major productions such as "La Reina del Sur 2", "Narcos" and "Distrito Salvaje". He has also participated in documentaries and filming social projects with Peace and Reconciliation, ACDI VOCA and USAID.
